Viral Mutation

This is a small roguelite survival game where you play as a virus trying to stay alive inside a host. During each run you collect mutations and abilities that change how your virus behaves. When you finish a run, you unlock more options that can show up in future attempts.

You fight against the immune system, wave by wave. Each stage has 10 waves and a boss. As the host gets sicker, the map changes to reflect that.

There’s also a Gene Lab where you can build your own custom virus using all the strains, mutations, and abilities you’ve unlocked so far.

The game focuses heavily on couch co‑op. It supports Android, Windows, and Linux, and you can play together over LAN on your own devices (this feature is still in beta).

Right now it’s a playable demo. It needs more balancing, more content, and more work on the online/LAN multiplayer. The game plays best with a controller.
